Pretty much. They know the impressionable youth is there and the platform is addictive. I imagine they see it as an opportunity to brainwash.

Tiktok was , during the pandemic, then it started to get commercial which was interesting with odd products, then it started to get crazy political... mostly anti establishment. This pissed off the politicians so it was suddenly a security risk. Banned, unbanned, etc.
