Got some delicious feedback from the first playtest of my current project: "this is 170% of a game and now you need to focus it in" and "this dice system wouldn't work in any other context but it's perfectly on-theme here".

Just finished reading & listening to all 10 of @aptshadow.bsky.social's Shadows of the Apt (aka Bugworld) books.
I think that's the longest series of direct sequels that I've ever finished - it's compelling to see how the setting changes through all its wars and technological advancement.

Discovered that my graphics card has somehow become *nine years old* while I wasn't looking.
