Oh yeah, 100%! I think one of the things that has helped me with art my whole life is that when i finish a drawing I'll literally just look at it for at least a couple hours afterward like :-D !! just bc it makes me happy lmao. Soak in the achievement even when I'm noting things to try next time

okay hehe i was afraid inking comics with this brush would get me too bogged down in the details and take forever bc. thats kind of been the illustration experience lol but the brush can draw sooo fast and it feels good to go loose with it too i inked a whole page from thumbnails in like. an hour !!

As far as it being exhausting, well. It's hard at first bc its brute-forcing a new way of thinking, but once you find the flow of it its a LOT easier than the emotional exhaustion otherwise lmfao. Also more fun bc new experiences are like games more than Potential Failure Vectors

The default would be to internalize false narratives like "it didnt work the first time therefore it isn't possible", "i don't know how to do it so that means i can't", or "i tried and failed, i am the problem". It gives me permission to learn and practice without it reflecting on Me

No worries at all! I described it with steps and examples outlined in somewhat rigid terms for clarity, but its more a Mindset Practice than a literal "i stop and list through each possible factor i can think of before proceeding". Basically a loose framework for helping re-route anxious impulses

The paradox of hair lengths; to the average heterosexual, a short haircut may scan as the Alternative Cis Woman's rebellious departure from gender norms, and thus pave over other subconscious cues of nonconformation. Both hilarious and ridiculous, but useful
