We've had Hereditary, Get Out, Sinners and Weapons so it frustrates me that horror films are still seen as "less than" & must be seen as "more than just". Having seen Frankenstein (which I really enjoyed) it's a fucking horror film and there's nothing wrong with that

1) it’s not illegal to date someone.

2) antifa is a leaderless and loosely organized ideology, not a group

3) if antifa did have a founder, I’m pretty sure it would be a 150 year old Italian person.

As for working on edits I give myself time to think and address without stressing about having the answer right then and there. It took me two days to figure out the scene the way I wanted it that addressed the note (which was the exposition felt long and static. they were not wrong)

Even when it’s something you hate the response is “I’ll take a look at that“ and then let yourself cool off and go back to the notes to see if it’s actually bad or if there’s something there, i.e., what’s the “note under the note” (the thing they’re afraid to say bluntly) and try to address that.
