But I have discovered something fascinating. Fright Night 2 (2013) (not to be confused with Fright Night Part 2 (1988)) is not a sequel to Fright Night (2011), but another remake of Fright Night (1985), but marketed as the sequel to the remake it isn't remaking or continuing.

Rewatching the remake and boy howdy is it worse than I remember. Dreary and boring.
