Space King hurts me because I swear there's a funny show trapped in that mess. Like they kind of nailed the absurd backwardsness of the imperium and inherent contradictions of shitty space marine fans but also they don't know how to write jokes so it's just slurs and murder

I feel like I could do a long breakdown of Ashley’s game from my ‘casual’ pov. But really, she did the only things she needed to in order to be “deserving” of the #bb27 crown.

She made sure she could beat the person sitting next to her in F2. And she made sure the jury knew her game.

This past weekend was the Mortal Realms Convention. We had lots of people show up to play games and have fun! It was a blast to pull the community together in our shared love of the #AgeofSigmar #WarhammerCommunity

A room full of people either playing Warhammer or getting ready to play Warhammer.

A table with 4 large wargaming miniatures. The first is a giant with a blue ball in his head. The second is a massive skeletal construct. The third is a giant wearing body parts taken from a massive spider. The last is a giant turned into a ghoul.

A game of Age of Sigmar. The sky-faring Lharadron overlords battle the Ogor Mawtribes in a ruined village.

I won’t go too into DND nonsense. But he could be running pre-published stuff that forces players into certain directions, or he’s played with a group of people who need a more direction to get the game going.

I just had high hopes for a BB DM player and am disappointed.
