Me: These are the logos and raffle quilts provided by the guilds. They're real. Imaginary AI: Here are some real images about people in psychiatrist offices. Me: Huh? I'm talking about quilts, not guilt! And that's very disturbing. Imaginary AI: I can make better quilts. Me: I sincerely doubt that.

Thoughts on AI while working on the Nov. quilt events newsletter. Since I avoid AI like the plauge, the suggestions are not based on facts. Kind of like AI.
Me: What would AI suggest if I clicked on the "use AI" box on the newsletter interface? Imaginary AI: You've misspelled "Sew" in Sew Many Shows. Me: It's a deliberate play on words. And it's the name of the project. Imaginary AI: You're using too many words in the text box. Me: People need to know when the show is, where it is, if it's accessible, what they'll see there, if they can get food there, whether there will be vendors, etc. Imaginary AI: I can tell them where to go. Me: I can tell you where to go.

The talk was wonderful! I'm so glad I had a chance to attend it. A friend was so inspired that she bought Felt Wee Folk at the Museum and picked up doll making supplies on the way home. (I have them already.)

GOOD NEWS! My exhibition at the Mariposa Museum & World Culture Center in Peterborough, NH is being extended through Jan. 4, 2026! The show, Bedtime Stitches & Other Works, has been so popular that the museum decided to keep it open for another 2 months.

A new banner for today's #NoKings protest. Fifty-five by forty-five inches, the hearts are attached by a running stitch. 💗🌈💗Hoping to add more hearts as necessary.
