When deciding what photographs to print and sell, one has to imagine (or predict) what the general public is likely to want to hang over the couch. That's been harder than I thought.

Wandering exhibits at Griffith Park, I was awed to see the old equipment that had been in use in the 60s and 70s still on display. Loved controller labels, like "Latitude Motion" and "Transit of Mercury." I remembered the old tesla coil throwing lightning bolts, but it was quiet in its cage now.

We were walking along a sand bank caused by storm erosion on the path from Santa Monica to Venice Beach, when I came across this apparently drunk woman (at 11 am) with an umbrella, weirdly dance-rolling around on the edge of the bank. #santamonica #photography #peopleofearth
