My friend Ward Ruth (from Range of Light) grew up near Big Sur and has been backpacking there for decades. I’ve been lucky to be invited on some of his trips in recent years. It’s a magical place!

I was finally able to purchase a print of one of his photographic explorations of skid marks left by skateboarders at Emeryville Skate Park. Looks amazing hanging above our hearth, and is now in good company with works by other local artists.
