It's a brainwashing technique. I've been homeless and met many homeless people as part of that. All of them were good people. Some had other personal obstacles but it didn't make them bad.

Yeah I knew they could still shock you after they're dead because they're siphonophores.. so each part of it is a living organism. If the other polyps die, the tentacles can still be alive and thus still sting
