It is grimly amusing that Australia’s second largest Defence acquisition deal ($46bn!) was referred to the NACC - for good reason - but the Commissioner won’t look at it bc he’s still a ranking ADF officer.
Readers will be astonished that this referral two yrs ago has yielded nothing yet.

Hate to say it, but after a week in Syd, Melb feels like it's stagnating. Endless roadworks, potholes, broken street signs, weeds, no airport train. We need to stop with the "Melb is the best city" and face up to some harsh realities, Melb is falling behind, badly & LNP won't be the answer. #Auspol
