It is challenging to determine developmental language disorder (DLD) in children while they are in the process of learning two languages leading to misdiagnosis. This session will review narrative development in bilingual children and present a protocol for dynamic assessment of narratives.

DLD is really very common. Way more common than other well know conditions such as autism.
DLD is a difficulty with using and understanding words and sentences.
And the biggest problem is that very few people have heard of it.
