“Propaganda by omission” occurs when a source withholds relevant facts or perspectives to influence opinion. It’s not about lying directly - it’s about what isn’t said

We took over the giant screen at Farage’s big rally in Birmingham

So who do you think will do a better job managing Scotland?
sheilzz.bsky.social
Well you need to question HMRC, as the figures in the chart are from them
sheilzz.bsky.social
Worth checking the chart Craig, here it is again. Earning 45k, means £452 pa more than England in tax, that's £37 per month , hardly the thousands you mention ffs 😑
sheilzz.bsky.social
Have you read the chart..£120 extra pa, is not huge ! I give up, a lost cause even with all the proof we are giving you.
sheilzz.bsky.social
Then you wouldn't receive the benefits you do now.... how's that going to help?
sheilzz.bsky.social
At 40k to 45k, you pay £120 per year, or £10 per month more than England, and 50k, you pay £1,500 pa more. With independence, you'll be 10k better off per year...it's a no brainer Craig, we are being ripped off by Wastemonster. #supportscotland
sheilzz.bsky.social
So who will you vote for that will be good for Scotland Craig?
sheilzz.bsky.social
Facts Craig! Crime is at it's lowest level seen since 1974. Theft, shoplifting, housebreaking, etc. are at their lowest level since 1971. Serious assault and attempted murder are down; violence is 23% lower than in 2006-07. Homicides 58% fewer in 2023-24 compared to 2004. Stop talking Scotland down
sheilzz.bsky.social
Wrong again Craig. There’s evidence that drug deaths in England & Wales are underestimated, especially for opioid-related deaths.
A study from King’s College London comparing ONS data with coroners’ / toxicology reports found between 2011–2022, deaths were about 55% higher than had been reported.
sheilzz.bsky.social
Even if you earn 75k in Scotland, you only pay 2k more per annum than in England, for all the benefits we receive that they don't get south of the border, plus our water rates and council tax are cheaper too. As mentioned, drug policy is a reserved power of wastemonster.

🇬🇧 Another bbc twisted Headline, concealing a large decrease in homeless deaths in Scotland, within rocketing levels within England (uk)

Over 126,000 unpaid carers are being supported through devolved carer benefits.

Unpaid carers are essential to our communities, and I’m proud that this SNP government is enhancing the financial support available to them.

No representation from the SNP? What a surprise🥴

You do realise drug policy is a reserved power of wastemonster, so not sure what you mean?..and can you explain " constant attacks on working people to fund certain wee ideas" in more detail please?
