Look, for this story to work we have to believe that MM gave Starmer advice to appoint Mandelson that was so bad it's required MM to quit, but that Starmer should face no blame for taking the advice at face value, but also that MM deserves an effusive and blameless sendoff from Starmer. Okay.
Starmer said: "It’s been an honour working with Morgan McSweeney for many years."

Praises aide for turning Labour around "after one of its worst ever defeats and played a central role running our election campaign..

"Our party and I owe him a debt of gratitude, and I thank him for his service"

#TrevorPhillips has been best friends with Peter Mandelson for decades and he recently confirmed they remain friends. Here he is today fronting Sky News's flagship Sunday morning politics show. How is this tenable, you ask? Thats the British mainstream media, folks.

This is good news, but to be in the position to make that choice we need to vote SNP1/Greens2 in May 26 to get a pro-Indy majority, not for any Your Party candidates who might stand in Scotland. Post Indy there will be a Your Party or equivalent to vote for then. #Scotland #Holyrood26 #Holyrood2026

My latest blog piece. There are Scottish politicians who need to answer uncomfortable questions about Peter Mandelson and his quarter century of sleaze in public office, John Swinney is not one of them.

it’s not John Swinney who must be held to account for Mandelson, it’s Starmer, Brown, Alexander, and Sarwar
Certain individuals such as the execrable Russell Findlay, the soon to be electorally humbled branch manager of the Tories in Scotland, and Mandy Rhodes, the editor of Holyrood Magazine, a publicat…

Epstein was in and out of Russia every few months according to his travel documents, but Mandelson was partying in nightclubs in St Petersburg and regularly in Moscow.

How did our intelligence services fail to pick this up? Or were their reports and investigations suppressed?

“It could take years to restore Brexit losses”

Especially if Farage comes along and tears up the ‘reset’ as he threatens.

Honest to god.. it’s such a tedious, idiotic, resource-sapping mess. There’s really nothing patriotic about it. Prejudice costs such a lot.

Lucy Powell has turned off replies/quotes on this post where she tells Zack Polanski to stand down in Gorton & Denton. I think this is tactically disastrous...if the Greens get one more vote than Labour on Feb 26th it'll just invite endless requests for LABOUR to stand down in future (from me).
