In 1949 the US military held its first Aeriel Gunnery Competition, later known as "Top Gun."
The best of the best competed in dogfighting and other skills. The team that won, was the 332nd: The Tuskegee airmen.
So they refused to announce a winner🤡

When I was little my mom would rent movies from the library. I know I watched The Never Ending Story a million times. I remember being in love with that movie. Today, I only remember two things about it. Some kind of locked cage with books and something about quicksand. Should I watch it grown up?

My four year old told me he misses our dog and is going to dig him up. The dog has been dead 2 years, half of my son’s life. I told him he would be disappointed. He asked why, to which I responded “he’s just bones now.” And that was the end of the conversation.

I think a lot of us learned things about ourselves that the clock app algorithm knew before we did. I, for example, learned that I love folk music. I think I knew this all along but didn’t know how to define it.

I have a big ask. My 9yo son is autistic and he’s been raising a betta fish he named Kevin. Yesterday He asked if he could “share a photo of Kevin with the whole world“. I don’t know if this will work, but a dad’s gotta try. Like and share if that’s your thing. Kevin says hi! 🐟👋
