Graphic designer Océane Dubujet created an art project inspired by Glass and Gardens: Solarpunk Summers ed. @sarenaulibarri.bsky.social and referencing my story "Watch Out, Red Crusher!". I love it! New hashtag #inspiredbysolarpunk #solarpunk #solarpunkart www.instagram.com/p/DLaMkQwIAj...

View all comments

I've been doing low-key solar advocacy & education since I got my rooftop panels in 2022.

Despite the fascists, solar is barreling ahead, remaking the world, taking power from the people destroying it.

Solar curious? I'm happy to answer questions!

The solar revolution means that power can be decentralized, democratized, distributed far more justly. So it makes perfect and hideous sense, given the nostalgia of authoritarians for a golden age (of exclusion, exploitation, and inequality ), to tie themselves to all fossil fuel's problems.

I'm never so bold as to claim that the things I enjoy are objectively "the best," but Five Books asked me for a list of #solarpunk books I recommend, so I listed five I think more people should read.

All novels, too, instead of short stories! I also talk a bit about one of my own books. #booksky

@teffeau.bsky.social ‘s reading of A Hunger with No Name (which has a glass city) was backdropped by Seattle’s own glass towers. She also read an excerpt of her upcoming story, Accelerated Growth Environment, coming March 2026 from Shiraki Press! #booksky #ecothriller #solarpunk #hopepunk #novella
