Sometimes, the words left unsaid, are the ones that tell the story.

Many have tried to kill this softness within me. Some have even come close, but it always survives. Then I remember: softness, kindness, empathy, compassion... these things are strengths, not weaknesses.

Autumn has come and gone, and the leaves that were once afire with color, have dried and fallen to the ground. The wind has scattered us far and wide ~ gone are the days when we clung together, full of life, full of color. Winter has come to claim us, and bury our memories in the dirt.
