Mr Bolton joins David Rennie, our geopolitics editor, to dissect Mr Trump’s worldview, evaluate his America-first foreign policy and consider the future of American power.
Mr Bolton was America’s national security adviser from 2018 to 2019 and ambassador to the United Nations from 2005 to 2006. Before serving under Mr Trump, he held senior positions in the administrations of Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush.
