No side in this conflict suffered any loss so far aside from the witches. Orthos is probaly going down in 1-2 chapters so that's kinda even.

If you read all of it at once, all the pieces for the conflict have been prepared by Kuramori in one way or another.

I hope the post arc chapters have some insane shit to justify how things went. I thought for sure that Elstri was gonna go out this time around.

New Centuria chapter this week.

If this is the end of the arc, we've spent 27 chapters so far in the conflict within the western borders. To be more precise it's 30 chapters since this conflict has been mentioned and built up with chapter 41 being it's start. It's coming to a close, finally.

I think the anime of Watatabe is going to end up around chapter 19-21. People who say that this manga is very slow paced are gonna get a reality check when they discover what this story is really about.

Hinako is a passive main character. Such as Shinji Ikari, the plot comes at her rather than the opposite. We're still at the stage of building up the relationships to later subvert/break them. Ep 3 will tie up the vague endgame and in ep 4-5 there will be a major event/twist.
