...to Palestine are mostly the descendants of eastern european converts to Judaism. Billions of people are descended from refugees — do we all have the right to return to some fancied ancestral homeland? Or are Jews special?

You need to read some Jewish history — like every other country that has been colonised, the local people have been monstered by the coloniser. ‘Abraham' colonised the land of the Caanites, and that land was colonised in turn by Persians, Mesopotamians, Romans, etc. Each removed some jews as slaves

You are factually incorrect — only a small percentage of jews show gene markers for Palestinian origin. It is a belief, not a nationality. So should RoR be based on genes? Or on religious belief, as the zionists assert? Or shared cultural mores?

How long do you think it remains a right to return to your genes' originating point? Or do you think religion is more important? Can we ALL return to Palestine then? Xtians, muslims, jews? How long did Israel let Palestinians they expelled in the Nakba the right to return to their ancestral homes?
