Don’t think I posted this, but @neoxiii.bsky.social did a full set of bleps for my characters!

I started this off a few years ago but the menagerie has grown since then, haha

Update: It turns out it’s not just their website, their T&Cs have the same cancellation policy

So yeah, I don’t see how they have a leg to stand on at this point, but we’ll see what they say I guess. Doing a chargeback over a website mistake felt a bit much, but if it’s in their fucking terms

As much as I complain about BBC News, I do like that they’re one of the few news outlets that actually bothers to explain the nonsense song and dance behind “sources close to” stories
We’ve been reporting a lot about “briefings” from allies of Keir Starmer that he is going to fight any attempt to challenge his leadership. But what is a briefing exactly? It is not nearly as grand as it sounds. It’s basically people in top jobs who want to get a message out but are not willing to put their name to it. They will speak "off the record". We then have to decide whether to report that or not. In an ideal world, everybody would be on the record. But, in politics, there is often a big difference between what someone will say on camera and what they are saying behind the scenes. So we end up with "friends of" or "sources close to" or "briefings" or sometimes "the BBC understands". It can make Westminster sound like a secret society, and is no doubt off putting to a lot of our audience, but if we just reported things that were on the record, we would only be telling half the story.

1. I’m glad they’re adding more Sega characters because I wasn’t too keen on the Corporate IP Multiverse

2. With the Tangle name drop in Frontiers I definitely feel like they’re appearing in the next mainline game
