When all this sh*t is over, time for Reconstruction-- the 2nd New Deal will have to face up to the original sin of racism, and grasp the nettle, to achieve a real pluralism and multicultural, multiracial democracy. Only then will we achieve Horkheimer's ideal: the Greek polis, but without slavery.

Gamers have such incredibly unreasonable demands of indies it's sort of a wonder anything gets made at all.
I could never fault an indie dev for just wanting to withdraw entirely from public from what are deeply wild, unfair or aggressive demands on their passion projects from 'gamers'.

Still feeling this really hard 14 hrs later. I have to make a new portfolio piece but the nature of it being for a portfolio means I have to get everything exactly right or people will have an excuse to pass on me again. Do I even have good ideas?? I dunno!

a sign people really want a feature and find it good is when companies make turning it off a 12 part process (firefox), require registry modifications (microsoft) or contact support to reveal the real off switch instead of their two decoy toggles (google) so they can claim people don't turn it off 📈
