Having characters expy'd from two different series interact with each in a third series makes me happy, hehe~ 🥹 I think Blue and Kitty would've gotten along in a low-stakes modern AU, which is what Status Royale is compared to their universes!

It's something I loved about Tezuka's and CLAMP's works growing up, and it's partly why I like keeping an eye on Hoyoverse's character releases in more recent years! :3 I'm super excited to have enough series (and characters) under my belt to start doing my Runiverse bullshit LMAO!!

Obviously, they are still separate characters from their original selves (different names, genders, backgrounds, etc.), but I've always loved the idea of 'recasting' characters like they're actors.

stop thinking of indie work as something 'made correctly' or 'made for you'

nothing will be 100% made for you unless YOU are the one making it

engage with work as it is - you can hold space for what you wanted it to be, but you gotta uncouple yourself from the disappointment or you'll be poisoned
