Yesterday I realised that I can give feats as rewards for big story moments in our PF2 campaign... not because the game says so, but because no one can stop me.

And it felt super good. :D

For most people, DnD is the only language they know, and that's what they use to discuss other games.
People were calling maneuvers "bonus actions" during our introductory Draw Steel oneshot.

GM Tip: While there's no need to prepare every detail, don't under-prepare because you were afraid your efforts would be wasted. Nothing you make is ever wasted. You can use it later, in this campaign or the next. Even if you never use it, the practice still made you a better GM.

Great analysis! Agree with 1-2-3 damage in Daggerheart, great for accessibility, but sounds like it hurts the overall game design a bit

This is where I appreciate pre-written modules the most. I prefer making stuff up myself, but when it comes to testing new systems, my mind is preoccupied with learning the ropes.
