I really shouldn’t be here. Explorer, Poet, Fantasist. The boy whose thoughts keep running away. Partial to a playlist. From the table of my memory I'll wipe away all trivial fond records. #COYS

The title track. The whole album is brilliant, but I think it is Together Alone that elevates it above all else.
Love it, immediately knew what the N stood for.
Well, he must've thought that it was quite a joke & he got lots of laughs from lots of folk
Thinks he’s clever claiming Cash seems deeply uncool
Some millennials would giggle & we'd turn red
And this hack would laugh but Johnny’d bust his head
When he asked, can we finally give Johnny Cash his due?
It’s quite unlike any other Crowded House track. Not sure if it’s a great choice for the album but then I am rather fond of it. I kind of see the whole album in pairs, in terms of mood and feel, and see it as a companion piece for I Feel Possessed.
Brilliant album.

Four hundred? I'm coming over…I'll be there in two sec.
I doubt anyone in the pitch knows. Every sub and change just smacks of desperation.
#StVincent at the Proms on BBC4 is some special kind of magnificent. Have I been living under a rock?
And this is why I love it! Despite the sad true story, I love the dark feel of it and they can really go for it played live. Possibly my favourite on the debut album.

Was looking forward to it but you’ve put me right off it now.
Presumable the Jizz Clarinet
Thank you for sharing mate, hope you’re coping ok x
I guess it could be seen as a bit of a novelty song and has probably unfairly defined how the group is viewed by casual radio listeners. But there is lyrical muscle to it beyond the chorus and it’s an emotional uplift. I am in love with the tinkling piano that trickles between the chorus and verses.

Everyone makes their own choices in life. I for one could not be on a platform that actively pushes far right content, and the billionaire owner calls for race wars on British soil.
🔴 NEW - Why you should leave X

Here’s the sad truth: Twitter no longer exists. X is something else entirely. It’s a megaphone for extremism, controlled by a deranged oligarch.

And 30 years later I’m reminded that my teacher decided to bring this up in GCSE politics. Cannot think what he thought it was relevant to.
He won’t go quickly. Death by a thousand cuts has already begun.
Great start! I look forward to hearing more. I do wonder if guilty pleasures stem from fear of what others think, when we should all be proud of what makes us happy.
The UK is heading backwards, with the sentiment of hope that this current government brought with it now flushed downstream and polluted by the slurry of Reform and the far right. We need to keep an eye out and stand up for those around us who must be feeling so vulnerable right now.
I need you to understand what this country feels like right now for those of us who look different. I'm sitting here, trying to plan for Saturday, make sure I don't even need to go to the corner shop for milk, like it's Christmas Day or lockdown. Why? Because I live near where Yaxley-Lennon will 1/
