Our project Empathique has been awarded the WissKomm-Ambassador prize by the division of @biodgps-dgpa.bsky.social of the @dgps.bsky.social.
Together with @seymatk.bsky.social, we were honored to accept the award today at the @pug2025.bsky.social

A highlight was the Women’s Mental Health Seminar with Psych students, where I had the chance to answer their thoughtful questions on PMDD in clinical practice. This led us to discussions about therapeutic attitudes and personal values in the current challenging times, a truly hope-giving exchange🩵

co-chaired a symposium at #dpk2025 in Berlin with
@sibelnayman.bsky.social, focusing on the menstrual cycle and psychopathology. She presented findings from a review examining the role of stress and trauma in premenstrual symptomatology 📊

While specialized services remain essential, #cycle-sensitive diagnostics and treatment should be integrated into #standard mental #health-care.

Thanks to everyone who is showing #awareness for this important aspect of mental health care.
