Don't threaten us with a good time, Daily Express.
Image featuring a graphic from the Bradford District Green Party. The background is green with the Daily Express logo in the upper left and a photo of Zack Polanski speaking into a microphone on the right, holding a cartoon-style bundle of cash with a pound sign. Below, a mocked-up newspaper headline reads: “Zack Polanski wants to redistribute our money and turn Britain into a Left-wing haven.” At the bottom, the Green Party logo and web address Join.greenparty.org.uk are displayed.

They are all pro-EU, and they would likely hold a coalition together on re-entry to the EU.

Looks like Jenrick has become a walking national example of how racist cognitive bias works.

A little hope that things could start to go in the right direction.

Movement from Green / Lib Dem to Reform / Labour. That feels like an outlier to me.

Constructing barriers that stop poorer folk from getting work is the least 'Labour' thing I can think of. He's completely lost the plot.

I'm in Bradford right now this minute. Everything is fine where I am in Lister Park.

By 'serious' & 'sensible' I think they meant what was best for upper-middle-class folk who live near London. & I think it's slowly drawing on them that they weren't even right about that.

Anyone willing has been able to see this for some time. It's now undeniable. However, unlike the headline implies, it's not historic. It's happening today.

Governments of the West stand and watch, and what are we supposed to think other than that they are complicit?

Any evidence to support this obviously homophobic claim?
Or are you spewing out incoherent hate again Nigel?

& of course you're a hypocrite.

Nigel Farage:

"Children who have two stable parents have a better chance in life... The most stable relationships, the ones that last the longest, tend to be between men & women... There's an awful lot of kids in the country not getting the kind of start... they deserve."

Farage has two ex-wives.

Yes, I think he does get that. I suspect he would be able to come up with a narrative that many people could get on board with. He did it in Manchester, & I believe he gets that we need that now.
sibrewis.bsky.social
Yes absolutely. He is to the right of me personally, but I think he is well positioned to lead a mainstream social democratic party like Labour should be.
I saw him speak at a festival last summer & thought he was perfect for the role.

It will likely be Andy Burnham.

I think you're right about Starmer's Labour. But the fella waiting in the wings has already said he thinks Labour should change to PR.

Well done Zack!

We need a Green Left to fight for social, economic & environmental justice & fight against rising fascism. Zack is the kind of strident leader we need.

I also hope he can work alongside Zarah Sultana & her new party, because they are both excellent.
