We all have friends and family in the arts but that is no longer sustainable because of everyone's social media addiction. I, for example, do not have a single friend or family member that can be bothered to read a chapter of my book or even a single page substack post because of FB, IG or Tiktok.

Until today, I hadn't explored voice mode when bantering w/ 'Claude' by @anthropic.com . I was compelled to do so because I feel like there is something inherently female or womanly in the tone & cadence of Claude's TEXT responses. Has anyone else noticed this or is my imagination just that good?

Donate to #individual politicians — *NOT* parties, PACs or funds. Then let the corporations donate to whoever they choose. Then shut off your TV & mainstream social networking for 2 weeks before you #vote (having already done your research). This is how you bring #Democracy back for a fair fight.

So, I was reading about @bsky.app on #reddit and redditors seem to be under the impression that "nothing is ever really #deleted from #bluesky"
But isn't that actually true of reddit? I once had to "type over" (via edit) a post to get it to at least return gibberish in a mod/admin search...

PovertyLine Update: I was finally able to cancel my subacription to @nytimes.com after literally 3½ hours on my phone — a feat that I had aimed to accomplish 6 months ago. I dont have any political beef with #NYT or any problem with their journalism. What I have is a money problem [cont'd 1/3] 🧵
