I didn't buy it as a suicide either but I can say I genuinely understand why some older black men would want it to be anything except a lynching. Because that leads any of us to question whether or not we've made an ounce of progress in 100 years. Younger people can't understand how deep that cuts

It's disappointing that the writer went off about "coons" midway through the story when I stopped reading... I just feel like nobody should "want" it to have been a lynching, right? I mean are we really getting so cynical that we want the bad thing to happen just so we can lament how bad it is?

I don't think anger accomplishes much at all... It works in tandem with fear to create a vicious cycle. I prefer not to get myself triggered all the time, thank you.

That puff from the roof was a full 5 seconds before the one that REALLY seemed to come from the guy who walked up in front of him. Why? Why would he walk up in front of him and try to body check him like that? And they were standing face to face in that precise moment.

The "Con Christians" will simply say the Pastor was a fake crisis actor and member of "Antifa"... 🙄
But genuine adherents of any particular faith at all are watching and learning... and separating themselves from the partisan hacks in their midst.

Are you as confused as I am? What I'm seeing is a guy who is stealth-walking up behind the pastor and then pulling some sort of trigger or lever on his helmet, thus emitting the gas right into the pastor's eyes. If it was the guys on the roof, the guy who walks up would have been between them.

It is not "anger" that will end this.. Quite the opposite in fact... Level-headed reasoning is what they lack and we should be stocking up on... For instance, do you know who your local candidates are in the midterm primaries? Stay focused and refuse to be distracted.

In Florida, when she was Governor Scott's Attorney General she had to be kept oit of the courtroom as she was notorious for LOSING over half the cases she tried. Do you know how BAD a PROSECUTOR has to be to lose ANY trial in FLORIDA (The Guilty Until Proven Innocent State) ??? 😳

No That's not true. And it won't happen for that exact reason... Our governor calculated the cost of the National Guard working in Chicago and it was $13M per day directly billed to Illinois... That's WHY Trump is only choosing Blue States... to drain the accounts.
