I had misunderstood demurrage earlier. But it offers a highly sustainable model — a fixed supply of tokens where unused or non-contributing balances are gradually burned.

We can’t take on Big Tech without taking control of money.

Hating blockchain isn’t the solution—it’s the FOSS version of money.

Scams can be eliminated as we take back social media.

Every time I visit social media platforms owned by big tech, all I see are marketers promoting a dystopian future.

Sorry to hear so bad about cryptocurrency from a Rust developer. We don’t need another speculative system like the stock market.

I don't think RISC-V is moving slow. Catching up with Intel and ARM means they must go faster than them.
RISC-V has some interesting options for SBCs. There was a Kickstarter for a $20 RISC-V SBC (excluding tax and shipping).
2026 will be exciting for RISC-V.

What nonsense?

Means we can't install apps from F-Droid.

Do do that they have to give heavy commission to mobile hardware company, other wise they will all run forked version of android, because customer won't want it.

Inflation and demurrage are essentially the same mechanism — both function as forms of taxation.
The difference is only in how they’re applied: one is implicit (inflation), the other explicit (demurrage).

This is complete dystopia. Indians don’t even have the right to breathe. It affects politicians, bureaucrats, and their children alike — they too are breathing hazardous air. It should be a collective responsibility for everyone.

A database needs to be maintained for polluting factories. The government is not doing its job, so it needs to be crowdsourced.

AT Protocol is the most robust design because it gives almost full control to the user. In platforms like Nostr, control shifts to the relays rather than the user. We just need SDKs to build and host servers on Iroh using Lexicon and Axum so that they can run on any platform, including mobile.

Open Social

Alice and Bob are still using social apps. Those apps don’t look much different from today’s social apps. You could hardly tell that something has changed.

Something has changed, though. (Can you spot it?)
