Can we please stop saying, "[blank] is a distraction from [blank]"? Cover it all. It all matters, it's all bad, it all needs to be called out, AND it looks real bad when you say in particular that loss of life is meant as a distraction.

U.S. citizens are under attack from our own government. This is the reality in 2026. "Then they came for me" is now, & no one in the Government that actually cares seems to know what they can do to fix it besides shrug their shoulders. "Next election" they say, not "here's what we do right now."

Trans rights are human rights. If you want my vote, this has to be something you believe AND will stand by. And it is shocking to me the number of politicians who've not been willing to do so.

Has the World Health Organization made a strong recommendation yet that people avoid travel to the US to protect their health? I'd like to avoid it myself, unfortunately I'm stuck here while the current administration purposefully endangers our health, our lives, & our livelihoods.

Last night I had my 1st podcasting dream. Unlike most stage dreams, it was rather pleasant. I think I was a guest on @judgejohnhodgman.bsky.social, given that he & @jessethorn.bsky.social were there. I imagine we were solving theatre disputes. Or ttrpg disputes, maybe.
