Honestly, this kind of scenario was exactly why I offered to instead of coming up with something random that might not fit the style and tone, to offer instead to fill spots or gaps the zine creators had.

?? It wasn't misinformation tho? The email i received said that the zine received an "overwhelmingly high amount of submissions"

Since the zine is still looking for artists I can only assume my art and fanfics style do not fit with the zine.

Also I really love horror so I make her appearance very very uncanny valley, very uncomfortable to look at, very unnerving.

Like, she never blinks. And her eyes are pools of non-reflective black, with two pin-pricks of light to indicate where shes looking. So, at night, all you can see that.
