If there’s one thing about the avalanche start that feels least sustainable it might be the above average goaltending performance they had from the woodshed.
Neither Wood is known for consistency, and if last night was an indication it could spell trouble.

I’m glad they’re winning right now, but it’s really impressive how dedicated the Avs are to playing like the Nordiques every time they wear the throwbacks. Letting the Canadians shell them early is some prime 80s nonsense.

If they had properly suspended him the first time he wouldn’t have been on the ice to hunt his second head on the boards of the week.
