Just your regular Queer Autistic Writer.
Made another lasagna with yellow squash, and a loaf of French bread. Much yum.

I feel this keenly. 34 moves and I too have a small trove of 'Lore' that has managed to cling to me. My childhood is gone in the roads, but the books remain, always.

Got some early Dawn shopping done, and now I've got some French bread in the machine. Laundry will soon follow.

In 1947 the US War Department released โ€œDonโ€™t Be a Sucker,โ€ now archived by the National Archives. It shows how fascism grows through fear lies and scapegoating. This should not be history. It is a reminder our government once wanted remembered.

Sorry to ask, but Iโ€™m afraid Iโ€™m in dire need of some spare change. I had surgery yesterday and, following two ER trips and multiple appointments and prescriptions, I now have $8 in my bank account and apparentlyโ€ฆ more pain meds I have to pick up! That I cannot afford! ko-fi.com/crispinophur...

I made my own lasagna with specific real cheese and it's delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹! I made the sauce with pork sausage and olives, simmered for 2 hours. It didn't set off my lactose intolerance either, so I can have as much as I want.

I got some black olives, garlic, pork sausage, diced tomatoes, and fresh basil; sent them for a spin in the processor. Now it's slow cooking in the pot for 2 hours. Then I can build the layers and add the cheeses, and into the oven under foil.

I won! Agorophobia did not keep me inside today! I got some special stuff for an elaborate meal I've wanted to make, and started the cooking process (sauce). I hope it turns out well.

If I post pictures of the books I'm getting rid of, would you guys want to buy them directly from me? These books will be photographed and they're in almost perfect condition. I need to make some money.

Well, I just saw the designs for the three remaining Hyperion Cantos books from Broken Binding, and I'm crying in broke author right now.
So, well, um... Buy my books so that I can buy pretty books?
Or if my books aren't your jam, buy some other books. Make an author happy.

'This is where you meet the Witch. Your breath a cloud of raw despair, your hands stained with tears. Pins in your teeth to kill the lie that you don't believe. Ask for what you lost and never knew; change your eyes to see innocence again, your heart to gold...'

'The same ridge of fire greets us. His, an end in soft evening; mine, a pale dawn waking alone in gold. He will return to me with the sunset's crimson light; let the dark drown us both in diamonds, let my last breath be his name...'

Cleaned the house. Dishes. Bread in the machine and chicken stock brewing in the instant pot to extract the goodness from the bones. After that, I'll freeze the stock and use the meat for BBQ pineapple over rice. Sounds like a plan.

A hot bath, some meds, and a blue unicorn onesie are exactly what I needed. MST3K helps, too.

Hey y'all. I'm still waiting on unemployment and living on my rapidly dwindling savings.

Please pardon the dead name, but if you could help me out with some money for groceries? Please? #helpsky

Watching 'Shutter' (2004, Thailand). For me, this ranks next to 'Pulse' for being a slow, creepy burn. So well done!

The US remake is ok, but I really do prefer the original.

Starting the day with a great Korean horror movie, R-Point!
One of the best from 2004.
Slowly creepy, a little humor, lots of details that build up to a perfect reveal. Worth seeking out.
