Fox is awake. Odd dreams. Nothing obviously bad, but i don't like the undertone of infestation. I think I prefer not remembering them. :( Fleas and beetles are no bueno. Strange place for a Death call. Didn't get it before I woke up. I will expect it soon.
In my readings, it's a reconciliation with new understanding. It can also be a choice between what you want and what you need. Inverted, it's a willing selfishness to keep what you have outgrown, pretending you have truly mastered it.
Fox is awake. I think the new med will be a nighttime one. I got so sleepy I was in bed by 6pm! Other than that, nothing too bad. We'll have to see as it establishes itself over time.
1st dose of new med is going well so far. Lost verbal, but we know I'm fine with that. It feels a lot like the Prazosin, without the fishbowl head. More like a small helium lift instead. I'm keeping track of the effects in 30 min increments, just like before.
"A warm sigh of breath across the seas. A sudden hush as lightning gathers in floating mountains above. They were waves once, and shall be again; filtered through centuries of stone and soil to flow forth in liquid thunder that has no end. Praise the Storm, fear no fury! She is here, she is here..."
Blink) Blink) Fox is awake. Time for coffee, pants, and dishes. Then, cooking and a little shopping, then I start my new med. Deep breath, here we go...
That's a deck based off the entire cycle of the Lovecraft Necronomicon inside. Always faithful, more kind than some would expect, but it does tire you out. Hence the Seal. ;)
I'm making pumpkin soup right now for my friend who is also sick. Chicken stock base, some decently hot peppers, and a few restorative herbs +garlic to help add strength.
Beef neck bones are in the clay baker with wine, garlic, herbs and onion stock. They are braising to melting tenderness, and I will serve them with rice and gravy. Smells delicious in here!
That makes 3 of them between this and last year. This was the least intrusive of them. So far, no pain on them at all. Optometrist told me not to worry unless they stay or happen more.
Hm. That was interesting. I just had another ocular migraine (without pain). Weirdly beautiful and unsettling; a thin spider-thread of flickering light which bent soft rainbows and pure blue within it. It glowed behind my covering hands and could not be seen directly. Mysterious indeed.
Fox is...(stretch, yawn, snaps fangs)...awake. Much reassurance in dreams, if not exactly comfort. I'm doing the Right Thing; even if the new med isn't helpful, the point is acting on my own behalf rather than allowing things to happen. That's a big deal for me. Hmm. Now, coffee and pants...
Ears up, head tilt) Fox wants. Would LOVE a crisp-edged, seasoned by the Gods double patty from the Chuck box in AZ. They're so damn good! Unfortunately, I'm in daily pain from my stupid stomach; I wouldn't dare try to eat one! But I remember...
Chat with psych went very well. We decided to try adding a support medication instead of just upping the dose, and we'll see how that goes. It's such a shock to me that they actively listened to me about what I don't want, and took me seriously as to why. Small victories✌️
Getting lightly doused with rain and coming back inside to hot coffee is a special feeling. (taps steel Kos in answer to the drops tapping at the windows)
Fox is awake. There is some thunder in the sky, with rain expected soon. Marshall the cat is with me, being a fluffy Sphinx and pretending to be brave. Aren't we all...
