This tweet has been doing the rounds on Twitter now that Nathan Gill has pleaded guilty.

If only someone had tried to investigate UKIP & Russian interference 🧐

There’s another timeline where the Guardian supported me, doubled down on the investigation & I look 5 years younger ..

Rewatched #28YearsLater and I could not be more excited about the next one, and to think we are lucky enough to get it in January. Everything about the next one tells me we're in for such a treat.

Saw I LOVE YOU, MAN for the first time last night. Was really hoping it was ahead of it's time and made some bold statements regarding masculinity but it doesn't really make much of a statement at all.

They will do anything to steal your attention. Do not let them. Ignore the fuckers. Sing, dance, and create, every day. Make things. Give love. Be generous. Be kind. Focus on what brings you joy. Fuck them and their needy, insecure, hateful bullshit. You are in control of your attention. Always.

There was a lot going on in #Superman. Maybe too much. But I did like Superman, Lois and Luthor. I liked the return of *that* score and the dog was such a terrific addition. A lot to like but I'm on the fence - I am curious where DC will go next...

Listening to #Haim 's new album, I quit, and first track using George Michael, final track using U2... the Haim sisters know what I like and this is it. First listen is just *chef's kiss*

Filmmakers that have made great blockbuster films with tough female leads, they must stop choosing the most stunningly, jarringingly obvious songs. ie. Captain Marvel using No Doubt's I'm Just A Girl and #Ballerina using Evanescence's Fight Like A Girl. Absolutely unnecessary and cringe.

So, I've always loved these type of jackets but now, at 40, I feel like I've aged out of them. Like, they're referencing "high school jocks", etc so... there's a point you say it's not for you anymore.

Really enjoyed #Ballerina. Can stand tall alongside the previous four John Wick instalments.

The worst thing was the cringe song over the end credits. 🤦

Put all my Blu-rays into a binder and, as I did, I realised how many great films and TV series I own and don't watch. I then cancelled all my subscriptions: Netflix and Apple end before July and Disney and Amazon were annual...

As I'm in the last 10 pages of Laura Bates' latest book on AI and misogyny, the fact that we need to consider, yknow, the original creators or women or minorities, etc, when making technological progress *should* be standard and foundational to tech rather than some afterthought.

In the 2nd chapter of @theringer.com.web.brid.gy's look back at the past 25 years of cinema, @brofromanother.bsky.social and I focus on Michael Mann's COLLATERAL to discuss digital filmmaking, the LA skyline, Cruise's bruises, and more.

Really enjoyed Bridget Jones 4. First 20mins alone had me in pieces. But the subplot with Billy, the kid, was a bit crap. Everything solved by a solo performance in front of all your school. 🤷 I guess

Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty awful world atm but when someone says they want to "Make Ireland Great Again" or "Make Britain Great Again", it is the most embarrassing thing ever. Just pathetic. Just desperately craving attention from that crowd.

@simonbrew.bsky.social I'm positive you'll know whether this is accurate to say
Am I right in saying digital codes coming with a bluray or 4k is a thing of the past now in the UK? I know new records don't have them - or at least, rarely do now. Because we lost Ultraviolet and Flixster, etc. And in the switch between these, I lost a few films because they didn't transfer over!
