Sen. Mark Kelly has released a statement.

"If this is meant to intimidate me and other members of Congress from doing our jobs and holding this administration accountable, it won't work. I've given too much to this country to be silenced by bullies..."

Very sorry to hear of Skye Gyngell’s death, at just 62. I celebrated a significant birthday at “Spring” at Somerset House where her brilliance remains on display.

Very sorry to report that the lovely Skye Gyngell, chef of Petersham Nurseries and latterly Spring at Somerset House, and so much else, died yesterday. She was a terrific cook, and a lovely person. My thoughts are with her family and friends.

At G20 in Johannesburg, Ramaphosa indicates a determination to push an end-of-summit declaration through by "overwhelming consensus". A complete repudiation of White House warnings, nay, instructions earlier this week that he must not even dare to think about doing that.

Having completely withdrawn his government from all participation in this weekend's G20 summit in Johannesburg, President Trump still thinks he gets to condition its outcome. Mine for South Africa's Newzroom Afrika on the litmus test for world leaders this weekend.

Washington warns Pretoria against pushing for a joint statement at this weekend’s G20 summit

Trump's illegal murders in the Caribbean just got worse. An internal DOJ memo on the bombings says the victims are waging war on the US, but per NYT, it extensively cites the WH's *own claims* to this effect as evidence!

It gets even darker than that. 1/

Hard to see this being anything other than a disaster for public discourse in Britain if that goes ahead.
