I broke out in tears and started laughing hysterically at the news and I felt so dizzy I thought I was going to pass out. Hope is a wild, wild drug.

Decrying violence against political opponents rings a bit hollow when you pull Secret Service protection from your political opponents.

The murder of Charlie Kirk was criminal, wrong, and should be condemned.

And Charlie Kirk was a horrible, hateful man who spent his life radicalizing young people to embrace their worst demons by targeting women, people of color, immigrants, and the marginalized.

I refuse to sanitize him.

I am SO excited about this and I am planning to be so insufferable about it when this comes out.
Exciting! I like Richard Linklater a lot.

Coming to theaters on Oct. 31 and Netflix on Nov. 14. That gives you plenty of time to rewatch "Breathless" beforehand. #filmsky www.youtube.com/watch?v=UufR...

It’s so nice when the art tool you’ve been dreaming of for forever actually has existed for the longest time and then totally changes the game for your art/practice ✨

I LOVE the textures you have going on in this

I think bottom left has my eyes moving through the whole piece the most, but I think that ultimately the best way is either whichever you personally like best or whatever your original intention was

Little late night sketch of me sketching in bed. I swear I love this brush pen so much I can’t believe it took me this long to find out that bristle brush pens actually exist 😭. I’m sure I’ve said that before but I’m still in shock that it’s a thing

What a freakin jerk! Not every person makes art about the stuff they’ve been through/are going through. It’s also such a huge assumption to make about someone’s life experience based on what they choose to make 😀

From here on out I am on a book buying ban. No more new booksβ€” my physical tbr list is ridiculous at this point and I simply don’t have the space…except for the books I already have coming in on preorder… and also the books/graphic novels I’m already invested in the series of…

We had to drive an hour from the city I live at tho and, for two people color, it was a pretty scary drive given all the signs and indications that maybe we would not exactly be welcome in the area…so maybe I wouldn’t want to go super often πŸ˜…

ALSO this was the first time I’d ever had proper French food and wow it was really better than what I could have possibly imagined. If French food at restaurants in America wasn’t so expensive, I’d definitely want to go more often πŸ€”

I just bought the Pentel pocket brush pen (which I used to sketch this) and I like it so much more than I already expected. In the past, I’ve never really like brush pens because I’ve only ever used ones with felt tip, but one with actual bristles AND it’s refillable? Serious game changer for me.

Some sketches I drew of the beautiful light fixtures and wine bottles at the French restaurant my partner and I ate at over the weekend plus a head that was part of some decorative part of a really amazing (but waaay expensive) dresser drawer we saw at an estate sale. #sketchbook #artsky #art
