Perhaps it’s the custom domain?

Oh yeah, I can imagine how that album felt even sillier than the single.

Funnily enough I absolutely loved it.

I’d gone too deep listening to polished production of post-hardcore and pop-punk.

Permission To Land was refreshing. Particularly the simple production value. Drums sounded so basic.

That dilemma is real!

I feel bad but I tend to lean on the “bail when things don’t click” end of the spectrum.

Is this a symptom of our zero-attention span so much available zeitgeist or just getting old and being a bit more brutal with precious time and decision making?

Couldn’t help myself but have a quick revisit. Oof, it’s still terrible. I think the only half decent track is “Sway”.

Fascinating what a few more years development and a decent producer can do. Their next album is so different.

Oh, and probably having Paul Weller involved in your album too. 😀

“Ocean Colour Scene” by Ocean Colour Scene. At the time I bought the CD around ‘95/‘96 I thought it was “Moseley Shoals”. 🫠

I stubbornly listened to it trying to convince myself it was a good album.

Maybe I’ll revisit it. Or maybe I won’t.

In a world of AI silliness and slop it feels extra special to donate to the Wikimedia Foundation this year.

I pretty much use Wikipedia every day.

I only donated £15 but at least it’s something.

Wikipedia feels like one of the important places we should keep AI free and human-community focused.

Newish jam night at my local pub. Had some fun on the drums. Happened to jam “Breathe” by Floyd but decided against playing “Money” – photo is of them playing it.

Did finish the night back on drums playing a funky track. I recognised it but couldn’t put my finger on it.

Out of interest, is it possible to modify an existing tag? For example, I've been inconsistent with case and would like to fix that.

Is it best to remove the "incorrect" tag from all posts and create and add a new tag with a consistent case?

i.e. not modify but delete and recreate
