I saw a bunch of commentary before seeing a source and was sure this was just bluesky taking the piss and was curious about what foolishness prompted it…

Not so much that one is a form of the other, but yes, ADHD and autism both fall under the neurodivergent umbrella, and there is a ton of symptom overlap/comorbidity between the two diagnoses.

It’s been depressingly common to hear “girls don’t get _____” so I imagine he just doesn’t.

Oh yeah, the mall has some, but they’re much more in the earlier, less impressive vein, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the pod style ones in a vending machine setup… best believe I’ll be on the lookout though!

Just talking about it makes me want to visit the guy at Costco again on the way home from work today. Tho I’d feel bad to waste his time, since I definitely don’t have the money. (I’d make the room. I used to pack up my dining table every winter to make room for a Christmas tree, I can prioritize!)

Yeah, in my mind they were still in the wasting-time-at-the-mall-Brookstone c. 1997 range, this thing was unrecognizable.

In addition to the rollers and kneaders and whatnot, it did this thing where it gripped your feet and just stretched your whole body… I want that in my life!

I consoled myself with a large box of little snack portions (2 cookies) of Milanos which have been brightening up my lunchbox at least? But the massage chair was KILLER.

I tried out a fancy massage chair they were demoing at Costco this week and I have never been so close to spending 9k I don’t have…

(I mean, at least that isn’t secured by a real object like a car or house. I guess I’ve spent considerably more than 9k I don’t have on having a roof over our heads.)
