to actually put my book aside and grab my phone, which is an effort in itself, so i don't really do it. and that has been great. when i first started i felt like it was kinda hard for me to get into proper reading mood but i'm happy that that's no longer really an issue, at least most of the time<'3

bc even tho i am invested in a vn or a fic, i often do take constant small breaks from them if i notice i get a message or i might just scroll through bsky on the side if i'm not Super Into the vn i'm reading. with a book i don't get to do that, if i want to check my messages or bsky feed i need--

i'm so glad i've managed to get back into reading physical books again 🙏🏻🧡 i've always read a lot but for the past years it's been more in the form of fics and visual novels, and i do think it's better for me to have come back around to physical books bc i feel like it's helped my attention issues

made a funny little watermelon drink but we ran out of lime juice and also the watermelon itself tasted kinda bland so a lot of the drink's potential got lost 😔 still okay tho! i want to try again with an actually sweet watermelon
