With this, I got to the point where I had a cuboid frame between pad and strut, then I just put a frame on top of the other frame, deleted the lower frame and strut, rebuilt the strut to the higher frame, deleted the frame and voila! Much tidier than anything else I tried.

Figured out how to put struts right up under a landing pad!

I'm sure someone else has to have done this, but all the examples I could find stopped at having a cuboid frame between strut and landing pad. #NoMansSky
