Not the point but I hate that “Kumbaya” is used as this hippy-dippy, thought terminating peacenik cliché… it’s a Gullah song, it’s a desperate plea to God for aid, begging him to “come by here”. Yet somehow enslaved Africans pleading for something better gets twisted into sarcasm and cynicism.
Or more accurately: *there is no road to recovery for Labour* because the moment they were put under scrutiny, it became crystal clear that it is infested with squealing little dorks like this who implacably hate liberals and the left, and are forever fantasising about new crackdowns upon them.

I guess I’m saying it would be easier for artists to quit Spotify if the listeners weren’t there… and as every platform is almost identical, there’s very little reason for listeners to still be there. Right?

I know there’s some hypocrisy here, artist being on Spotify and telling people they shouldn’t be… but its 25% of streams, you can set artists free of Spotify just by using something else. Artists are trapped there grubbing pennies, but listeners actually have options.
No judging but Spotify is so easy to leave and has so many better alternatives, kinda makes me sad to see friends doing free marketing for them.
