For the past year, I've been thinking a lot about my long-term goals as an artist & my relationship with social media.

As a user affected by the Australian rollout: they're lying about pre-verification. Every Australian Discord user with whom I regularly interact is over 30, but we were still all required to verify
Discord is already starting to walk things back a little, so people should keep doing what they're doing (cancel Nitro, leave feedback/criticism, direct contact through support tickets/phone/email/etc)

At least most of the gacha a do retain the personality element. Most of the time. Or just attempt to integrate them more deeply than “that guy you know from the other thing is here now give us money”

It’s just depressing that it seems that just mashing 2 things into each other without actually thinking about how theyre meant to interact is becoming the standard. People saw those deadpool in the tardis shirts that were popular in 2013 and were like “yes, all of culture should be like this”

And in game they’re silent cause they’re just a skin to slap on a basic skeleton. I think it’s like, flat out Fortnite lore that anyone who ends up there is stripped of personality or memory besides the necessary basics, so like…what’s even the fucking point

Like the appeal of a crossover surely is that you get to see personalities that would never otherwise come into contact meet and interact with each other? But as far as I can see that’s solely limited to the 30 second trailers announcing the characters that are appearing…
