I am, thanks. It was a couple decades ago now (although that doesn't seem possible). I wasn't expected to live. What they thought was a rare and very malignant cancer... wasn't. I suspect I'm written up in a medical journal or two. 😁

I had a port after a brutal surgery. It was near my collarbone. I honestly didn't know what it entailed other than an IV, until they pulled it out.

They could give FOTUS one and tell him it's delivering a magic potion to keep him young & sexy. You know he'd believe it. Heck, he'd brag about it.

I live 10 minutes from Middletown. Middletown is complaining that he's not done anything for the community since becoming VP. And I'm sure you know, his half-brother is running to be mayor of Cincinnati. It never ends.

We never saw Merrick Garland at press conferences, sitting next to POTUS at sporting events, appearing as a guest on Fox "News" (or any news), etc. Why is the AG's job suddenly that of media wh*re?

I'm sure he's looking into anything he can find on Gavin Newsom. POTUS Obama, POTUS Biden, and VP Harris are probably high on the list. Jack Smith (although I thought they were already investigating him; that went quiet.) JB Pritzker. Jimmy Kimmel. Stephen Colbert. Etc. The list is endless.

What annoys me more than the fact that everyone currently in power in the government is so woefully, completely unqualified for their positions is that so many of my fellow Americans are A-OK with profound incompetence. Even when their own lives are negatively impacted.

I'll never understand it.

It was an experience I don't care to repeat.

I will say, though, that every person I met in South Dakota who was involved in helping me recover from the accident and get home went out of their way to assist. Kind, generous people.

I went on a road trip in September. My car (with me in it) was totaled in a small town in South Dakota. Getting home from basically the middle of nowhere without a vehicle was a challenge. I'm a bit ambivalent about road trips for now.
