The interaction I just wrote between my witchy FMC, her high-maintenance co-worker and the horse shapeshifting Manager was some of the most fun writing I’ve done in a long while. I get the feeling that Book 2 is going to be a little wacky and I love it!

I feel like my best advice for other querying authors is to keep writing to remind yourself why you love it even if the publishing process is a nightmare!

Editing round #3! I thought editing would require a lot of desk time (which I hate) but I revived my old goodnotes app on my iPad and it’s worked like a charm! Now I can cozy up on my couch with my cat and feel like I’m actually reading MY book 📖 🎉 🐈‍⬛
