i dunno what the answer to get the phillies to break through in octorber is again, but changing managers feels like a given. rob thomson has been great in the regular season but he's clearly got problems pulling the right levers in the playoffs. rip the band aid off now

i don't think he's washed, he kinda proved in his little run of matches before all in that he's still got something in the tank but also i consider that he worked those matches in a much safer style instead of saying "let's go 200 miles per hour and see what happens"
