You may not agree, but I think it’s time for Dems from coast to coast to run on Medicare for all.

I completely agree. This is long overdue.
I am reposting this so we remember we aren’t dealing with the brightest bulbs. They will keep all recruits soon enough regardless of their open book test scores. There are way more of us, we are ideologically unified against fascism and cruelty, and, I bet we could all pass an open book civics test.

In case there ever comes a time when this is all over that you are inclined to offer grace to ICE workers suffering the consequences of their decisions, remember situations like this. And zip tying children. And ripping people from their homes and cars. And worse.
In Portland, an ambulance was summoned to the ICE office to treat an injured protester (not clear how he was injured). But when the patient was loaded inside, ICE officers refused to let the ambulance leave and threatened to shoot the ambulance driver: www.wweek.com/news/2025/10...

I used to think the whole thing about learning history lest we be forced to repeat it was entirely unnecessary after learning about the horrors of Nazi Germany, but clearly I lacked enough imagination. Since we are repeating it, at least we can review their play book. It’s all there.

Yes. I expect things will continue to escalate significantly. Prepare physically with needed supplies and weapons and psychologically for things to get extremely ugly before the tide finally turns toward good. It is awful, but it is where we are. And remember are still many more of us.

Yes. I expect things will continue to escalate significantly. Prepare physically with needed supplies and weapons and psychologically for things to get extremely ugly before the tide finally turns toward good. It is awful, but it is where we are. And remember are still many more of us.
I respect her so much. She needs to be protected and undoubtedly knows and is taking to do so. As things escalate, it will get more frightening to resist, but we have much more people and there is power in numbers. Thank you Senator Ortiz.

Holy hell. As a physician, this is unfathomable and deserves severe sanctions up to an including fines, loss of her license to practice dentistry and immense social shaming. These people have lost all sense of humanity. When this is over, they will only have each other to interact. I’m not forgiving

This will continue to escalate. It’s nauseating, but our reality. Keep filming. Keep showing up. Keep up the social pressure. The blip in momentum for their side is already fading. They can only milk it for so much. Most of us abhor stories like this and will do everything to make this stop.

That is exactly what they did. At least it is completely out in the open now, because it’s not like it hasn’t been happening for a long time. Another thing we have to definitively address when this mess is over. It’s shockingly awful but at least now completely undeniable for apologists.

We are and have been on our own when it comes to our health and safety. This has been true to a lesser degree for a while, but I fear we have become complacent about food safety monitoring since that is one area that was relatively. We are in new and dangerous times in more ways than one.

Yikes. Although not unexpected, it is extremely disturbing, especially since we know this is only the beginning. I do trust soldiers to not follow illegal orders, but holy crap, this is getting scary. They want us exhausted and distracted. We know how to stay focused.

I hadn’t seen that angle either. It’s super blatant. Filming and posting is essential, but I’d love to hear from experts on the best actions to take if we come upon this. Every instinct I have would have me physically trying to protect the person being punched on the ground.

Is it just me or does it seem like this is one of many obviously off things that have been ignored for a long time? I expect an avalanche of truth when he and his ilk lose their grip which may be starting. At least he seems more panicked than usual and that seems like a very good sign.
