I ranked them above actual shovelware, but I would still call these two the most disappointing games of the year for me. *especially* after I did a marathon of the entire AC series last year

i just adore how unselfconsciously joyful Onimai is. in a culture that's constantly telling us that becoming a girl is traumatic, or a political issue, or is a humiliating loss of masculinity, Onimai is brave enough to say that no! it's about having fun, being a cutie, and feeling good in your body

Titans of the Tide is such an interesting game to me because the Purple Lamp clearly want to and know *how to* make a Spongebob game as good as Battle for Bikini Bottom, but because their projects are clearly only being approved to tie into movies they do not have time to make that game

Honestly the most shocking part of jumping into this game was learning that Solo Leveling has like, a lot of characters. I thought that guy just leveled solo

Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive being such a slog is making me appreciate how good Granblue Relink was even more. It is in fact very easy to screw up your Monster Hunter-clone
