I get why people complain about the Office 365 apps on iPad.

OneNote doesn’t support any of the unique features of the Apple Pencil Pro. Hell, it doesn’t even support Apple Pencil Hover!

Coming into 2025, I expected another quiet year for the iPad.

Boy was I wrong.

From major iPadOS 26 multitasking changes to long-overdue apps finally arriving (Instagram!), 2025 ended up being a surprisingly strong year for Apple’s tablet.

CapCut has released a new iPad-optimized video editor called CapCut Pad, bringing multi-track timelines, AI tools, and 4K exports to iPad.

Unfortunately, it is not currently available in the US app store.
