This video is the rare YouTube recommendation that’s actually good. It touches on one of the reasons I lean so heavily towards things like the iPad and Vision Pro…

Desktop UX hasn’t meaningfully evolved since Windows XP or the original Mac OS X.

I feel like it says something that iPadOS 26, and presumably iOS 26, are still “optional” updates.

Usually, the .1 release is when they become required.

As iPad users, we’ve unfortunately gotten used to waiting years for Apple to address our feedback.

The quick changes they’ve been making in iPadOS 26 (even if they were planned) are a welcome change.

Getting 120hz external display support working with the M5 iPad Pro was more difficult than the reviews made it seem. Mostly because my gaming monitor doesn’t have a USB-C port.

I put together a quick video detailing how it works and how I got it working.

In spite of the constant calls for its death, the Vision Pro just received its first major hardware revision.

Normally a chip update wouldn’t count as “major,” but the jump from M2 to M5 brings more than just raw performance, including better battery life, 120Hz support, and somehow, more pixels.
Apple Vision Pro Gets M5 Chip and Dual Knit Band in First Major Upgrade
Source: Apple After almost two years on the market, the Apple Vision Pro has received its first major hardware upgrade. Alongside the new iPad Pro and 14-inch MacBook Pro, the updated Vision Pro is among the launch devices for Apple’s new M5 chip. For the Vision Pro, the chip update alone is a substantial improvement. The first-generation headset launched with an M2 chip when the M3 had already been released and the M4 was right around the corner.

I didn’t do a review of the iPhone Air.

Instead, I wanted to present the perspective of someone that “downgraded” from a Pro to an Air, since it’s so hard for some people to understand why someone would buy this phone.
